The Brutality of Reason Example

By Ironcross One-One

Slicing and dicing things into pieces small enough
to be fed to Liberals, Kooks and Anti-Americans.

If you are the emotional liberal type, this mindspace will make you uncomfortable. If you think my logic or facts are faulty, lets discuss it. When your findings disagree with my findings, that is dialogue. But using rhetoric to disagree with science is demogoguery. No demogoguery! I usually refrain from insults, but occasionally, ignorance and liberal hypocrisy bring out the worst in me.

Another Clinton Crony Under Indictment

Let us hear another chorus of the virtues of the liberals. The people that hold hands and chant outside the White House for honesty in government. And the Democrats, the people that say they represent the common man, but can't be trusted to properly handle and protect classified documents.

This smacks of cover up. Clinton met for hours with the 911 Commission, but he made sure that Berger removed the damning evidence. Gorelick and other cronies protected themselves official blame. So, will Berger plea bargain and sell Slick Willy down the river? or will he do a stint in Club Fed and accept a large offshore account from George Soros to compensate him for not funneling Hilly-Willy 08'?

Magic 8 ball says Teflon Willy is untouched. The powerful protect the powerful. Bush won't intervene, but he won't press it either. Dammit!

Sometimes the truth is chauvinistic. Sometimes it isn't. (Is there an antonym for chauvinistic? And if there is, why isn't it used just as frequently?)

Check this out.

Liberty Beats Strategy

It's 1981. The Soviet Union is employing medium range nukes in Europe and the Star Wars Missile Defense is a distant concept. It's only been a short time since one Cardinal Karol Wojtyla of Poland is elected Pope and takes the name John Paul II.
24 Years ago today (30 Mar), Ronald Reagan survived an attempt on his life, 69 days into his presidency. 44 Days later Pope John Paul II is shot 3 times with a 9MM pistol.
Of the 1981 assassination attempt on the Pope, an Italian Daily says the Soviet KGB ordered it, the East German Stasi planned it and the Bulgarians controlled it using the Turk to pull the trigger. Yuri Andropov was head of the KGB. (thats the secret police for you Women's and Gay studies majors) He went on to be Premier of the USSR after Brezhnev and before Gorbachev.

If this story is true, what about this Pope made him a unique threat to the mighty Soviet Union?

8 years later the Warsaw Pact unraveled. The first threads that unraveled were in Poland. The trade unions led by Lech Walesa and inspired by Ronald Reagan kicked over the first domino and the rest is history. Communism ended up on the trash heap of history just like Reagan said it would. Pope John Paul has been an outspoken advocate for peace and human rights. When God calls Pope John Paul II home, Reagan will welcome him with a hug and a big high five at the Pearly Gates. I'm betting that Brezhnev and Andropov will be somewhere else.

Did the Soviets know how precarious their position was? I'm betting yes. Great chess players. Those Soviets could play 5 moves ahead. But they always got their ass kicked in the long run. Because realpolitic isn't chess. It's poker. In poker every hand can be a winning hand.

25 Years Later...
The US is employing Star Wars in the Pacific and the Soviet Union is distant concept. Never back a chess player in a poker game.

Whew, That Was Close

Apparently enough damning evidence got shredded to protect KKKofi Annan. Although the report did not completely vindicate the secretary-general, the investigation led by former U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker said:
...there was insufficient evidence to show that he was aware of the bid.
This is insider language for:
You did it, We know you did it. Your fingerprints are all over this. We know you had your cronies shred the evidence and we'll be watching you.
Unfortunately, the will to play hard ball in the highest circles doesn't go into the bench. Dubya, Dick, Condi, Don and the Wolfman are the starters but after that it gets thin. Sure would be nice to have the Senate resolve to pay no UN dues until Kofi quits.

It's a cover up, and we don't like cover-ups in this country. It's time to hold the UN accountable.

Unleashing the Wrath

Richard Gere is unleashing his wrath on the European Union over the lifting of the embargo against the Chinese.
The Chinese are going to Red Alert Status Yin-Yang Six Double I-Ching.
The French are making plans to surrender.
Giuliana Sgrena has offered to be his hostage.
Gerhard Schroeder is wondering if the Nazis ever attacked the Buddhists.
In the Pentagon, the contingency planning meetings go on all night in case he decides to turn his wrath on us.

We're having one problem making contingency plans.

We can't figure out how a pacifist escalates.

Na Na, Hey Hey, Goodbye and Good Riddance

Oh Dear, How will we survive without Kofi Annan?

This guy is an Anti-American, Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Western, weasel. He has no idea how wealth and value are created nor of the relationship of culture to prosperity. He is a money-grubbing, ass-kissing, multi-culturalist parasite.

Diplomatic Immunity protects him - for now. Let's declare him persona non-grata and deport him.

Never Surrender

He who surrenders first, loses.

We knew we would get to this point when we saw the beginnings of trouble for the insurgency.

Not even 60 days since the election.

The daily casualty rate for March is 1.2 per day as of 25 March. That is the lowest in 13 months if it holds.

The Iraqi's are starting to take it to the rebels too.

Nag, Nag, Nag

An attorney got home very late one evening after a very long, taxing day trying to get a stay of execution for a client named Samuel Wright who was due to be hanged for murder at midnight. His last-minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed and he was feeling tired and depressed.
As soon as he got through the door his wife started on him, "What time of night do you call this? Where the hell have you been?" and so on. Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he went and poured himself a very large whiskey and headed off to the bathroom for a long hot soak -- pursued by his wife making her predictable sarcastic remarks.
While he was in the bath the phone rang, which the wife answered only to be told that her husband's client had been granted his stay of execution after all. Realizing what a day he must have had, she relented a little and went in to the bathroom to give him the good news. As she opened the bathroom door she was greeted by the sight of her husband's rear end as he bent naked over the bath cleaning the tub.
"They're not hanging Wright tonight." she said.
The attorney whirled 'round and shouted hysterically, "For crying out loud, don't you ever stop?"

Liberal Values

I'd like my liberal and libertarian friends to tell me what we should do with a useless parasite like this, a scumbag that gets doped up, kidnaps, rapes and slays a third grader.

Was he in complete control of his faculties, or was he was using an illicit substance and in so doing released his demon to destroy a number of lives. It doesn't really matter does it? Does any 9 year old deserve the terror of Jessica's last few hours? Does any parent deserve to live with a lifetime of regret for something as innocuous as leaving a door unlocked?

Shall we send a message to all such perverts that the price they shall pay will be heavy?

I'm betting the liberals will do their best to shelter this guy from the death penalty. Meanwhile they work to terminate Terry Schiavo.

Then they wonder why they aren't thought of as the party of "values."

Sheesh!

Gifts That God Gives

I was up at Walter Reed visiting one of my troops today and I saw something wonderful in the hallway.

There was a young man in a wheelchair. His left leg was amputated just above the knee. His tall slender dark haired wife was standing over him as he cradled his newborn child in his arms. I was observant enough to know that I was seeing something remarkable. I wanted to stop and hug them, tell them to love and look out for each other and express my best wishes, but it would have been an imposition on such a intimate moment.

A man who has given much on behalf of many, a woman who has given love and support to her husband the warrior, and a child that is a gift from God. I don't know them, but I wish them all the best that life has to offer. May God bestow peace and prosperity upon this little family.

Paying the Price for Feminism

War is hell. I think it was William Tecumseh Sherman that said that, and it's true. Fire, brimstone, nitrates, phosphorus, blood, fatigue, fear and pain, and the faces of the dead. If there's no real "hell", war is close enough.

A little more than 3 years ago, I had a few minutes with one of my troops the day after he had spent 20 hours on a hill called Takur Gar He worked the air strikes, the ground battle raged, and seven of his comrades died. The intensity of the battle are detailed online and in documentaries. It was warriors at their best and war at it's worst. The two usually go together. In the few minutes spent with him, the effect of the trauma on him was readily apparent.

In a different time, we recognized that men and women are different. We attempted to protect our women from the horrors of war because it seemed that they were not suited to it. It seemed that their nurturing nature and smaller bodies put them at a greater risk on the battlefield.

The feminists, claiming that it was arbitrary discrimination, lobbied and litigated for equal treatment of women in the military with respect to promotions and advancement. This sounds good on the surface but is flawed. A military needs combat leaders that can tolerate and function in a battle environment. Only a warrior can effectively lead warriors.

Now comes the effort to deal with the fact that women are less suited to the trauma of war.

There are both young men and young women that will never be the same after what they've been subjected to. I'm not questioning that it's worth it. Liberty is worth any price that must be paid. But in terms of percentages, we are putting young women at a higher risk than young men. Where are the feminists on this one? Women are being placed at unfair risk. They are being exposed to an environment that puts them at an elevated risk in comparison with their male counterparts, and it is being done by feminists that would never put themselves in that environment.

A Whole New Meaning

More and more evidence is surfacing that we are predisposed to certain behaviors. This time it's religion.

So... does it not make since that a nation founded from a bunch of colonies established by a bunch of religious fundamentalists would be more religious than the European nations that persecuted them into emigration? Is it in our blood?

The study lends credence to the common religious belief that God's commandments prohibit marrying outside the faith. If that is so, it would be for good reason.

And then there's that whole "chosen people" thing.
Genesis: 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.
Those of you that squirm when religion is on the table can sit easy. I'm not preaching. This is about anthropology and genetics.

For a couple of hundred years we've been denying that people are born with significant behavioral differences stemming from genealogy. That view is changing.

It won't be long till an enterprising defense lawyer introduces the "Genealogy Defense" in a court of law. He will claim that the DNA that identified the perp also made him do the crime. You heard it here first.

Take Ten to Ponder

What would you do if the supply of oil to the United States were cut. Could you survive?

The government would allocate the available fuel to agriculture and transportation (to feed the population) and military efforts to secure additional oil and. How much could you do for yourself?

Now, How do you feel about US efforts to stabilize the Middle East?

If I were leading China, I'd be working hard to cut that supply.

Ideas, Self-Identity, and Intellectual Defensiveness

I may have stumbled upon why I rub some people the wrong way.

I don't identify myself or anyone else by ideas. In my definition of intellectual exchange, someone can be virtuous and valuable regardless if the validity of their perceptions and values. A child is not without value just because he or she is innocent and ignorant of the harsh realities of life. I feel the same about adults. Adults can be ignorant and misguided and still be virtuous and valuable.

Negative behaviors are likely to reduce my estimation of a human being, but ignorance shouldn't.

Not everyone thinks that way. There are people that self-identify by their ideas. If you attempt to refute or disprove their ideas, they perceive it as a personal attack. Howard Dean says Republicans are evil. I say Liberals have good intentions guided by faulty perceptions and understanding.

Howard Dean is on intellectual defense, I am on intellectual offense.

I want to hear ideas, slice and dice, and see if they hold up to scrutiny, and integrate them into my thinking if they don't leak. I am perpetually on intellectual offense. This is fine when dealing with people that think of ideas as intellectual capital that increases in value by putting it into circulation with other capital. But the intellectually defensive believe in hoarding and protecting their ideas like money in a mattress. When I start mixing my capital with their capital, they get protective and worried that their ideas may get devalued. And since they self-identify with their ideas - they take it personal.

I must modify my behavior. I must introduce facts and ideas in a less threatening manner when dealing with the intellectually defensive. They are good people, but they don't understand intellectual offense. (pun intended)

Those of you that have teens, should think about this. Teens are in the troublesome process of self-identification and are particularly prone to intellectual defensiveness.

When I occasionally sit in a high caliber strategic forum, I find both allies and adversaries that just love to mix it up with me and other allies and adversaries that take the outcome personal and don't even want to be in the same room with us. I think this may be the reason but I've never seen any studies, science or research on it.

Anybody? Is there a scientific name for these behaviors?

Bassackwards

Went to dinner at the liberal friend's apartment last night. Yes, he was watching "Friends" He really set me off. He started casting out that tired "Ward Churchill" crap that terrorism is the result of American foreign policy but he went one step further. He asserted that George Bush is the root of all Anti-American terrorism. I asked him about the democratic initiatives in Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, he said they didn't want democracy and we are forcing them into something that they don't want. According to him Iraqis don't want to vote but we are forcing them.
Then I asked him if Bill Clinton's policies were the reasons for the WTC bombing, the attack on the USS Cole and the Embassy Bombings in Africa. He didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Sheesh!

WMD..What Did They Know and When Did They Know It?

Saddam offered the UN's Chief Weapons Inspector a 2 million dollar bribe to doctor the inspection findings.

Why would a despot offer 2 million dollars to cover up evidence of weapons programs that he didn't have or didn't intend to sustain? Michael Moore! you seem to have missed an important script point in your movie.

Also, the NYT says sophisticated engineering equipment was looted from WMD facilities shortly before or immediately following the US invasion of Iraq. How does one loot what does not exist? After all, Bush lied. There were no weapons programs.

Now it's becoming clear that there were weapons programs. The question is: What did the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Guardian know and when did they know it?

Why the British Wore Red

A long time ago, Britain and France were at war. During one battle, The French captured an English major. Taking the major to their headquarters, the French general began to question him. The French general asked, "Why do you English officers all wear red coats? Don't you know the red material makes you easier targets for us to shoot at?" In his bland English way, the major informed the general that the reason English officers wear red coats is so that if they are shot, the blood won't show and the men they are leading won't panic. And that is why from that day to now all French Army officers wear brown pants.

No Victory Party Yet

Watch what’s going on in Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, but don’t start the band playing just yet. In those places, the flame of liberty is sparked, but it’s a long way from being a wildfire. There are powerful desperate men that will kill and maim to keep power. The transition to democracy will cause instability. Lots of instability. Deadly instability. Murderous instability. Inhumane instability. Get your mind right.
This isn’t abnormal. This is the process used to take power from people that don’t believe that power is derived from the consent of the governed. If they are willing to use violence to keep power, then the people must be willing to use violence to take their power back. Violence is coming. I don’t know where it will break out first, but it’s coming. Get your mind right.
In his second inaugural address, the President promised the oppressed peoples of the world that if they would stand for freedom, we would stand with them. There’s a reason to do this, but it isn’t going to be easy. This will be the last stand of militant Islam. Like the generation of 60 years ago, we can assure our place in history if we make sure that our victory is total and unmistakeable. Get your mind right.

Post Incommunicado Post

I’ve been incommunicado for a few days. No convenient time and place to sit and compose. On Friday, my son graduated (with honors) from basic training. It was one of the best days of my life. It’s incomprehensible how much joy you can derive from the successes of your children. My joy is not for what it means to me, but for what it means to him. He’s responsible and independent. To see your children take responsibility for their own lives and stand alone is a great reward.
A reward that follows all of those days and nights of worry, the arguments and the uncertainty of when to be firm and when to give ground. It’s a big report card for all of us that had a hand in raising him. As complex as the task was and as mean and dangerous as the world can be, we helped produce an intelligent, responsible adult in just 19 years.
He’s gonna be alright. He can handle whatever gets thrown at him. It’s a signal to stop worrying. Gonna have to find something else to spend that portion of my time on.

I'll publish a picture when I have one.

My Mistake

My last post was called The Amazing Disappearing Commie Skank Liar.
It should have been The Amazing Disappearing Lying Commie Skank. Apologies for any confusion I may have caused.
I'll drop this subject now.

The Amazing Disappearing Commie Skank Liar

I'm betting that Communist Newspaper Reporter Giuliana Sgrena fades off the front pages faster than the Juanita Broderick story. Once it becomes clear that there are lots of suspicious circumstances surrounding the hostage/ransom events, and the left starts to realize that it was impossible for the soldiers to know who was in a particular speeding car at night, this story is forgotten. The Italian government doesn't want it plainly publicized that they can be tricked into paying terrorists to conduct crimes, the US doesn't want focus on the collateral damage/fratricide incident, and the left isn't going to want to inflict the damage that will be sustained when it becomes readily apparent that the whole affair was a Communist/Ba'athist set up gone bad.

Mark my words, the only people that will listen to her in a week will be the ones that want to believe her.

A Child's Paper Thin Perceptions

Yesterday, my 18 year old step-daughter came to full realization that I am imperfect. This coming so late in adolescence is certainly attributable to her trusting and humble nature. My 18 year old son came to the same conclusion at least 5 years earlier. His realization began the war to shape him into the man he ought to be. It was a hard fought campaign, but I won. With my step-daughter, I think this epiphany will be the end of her conflict to graduate from childhood. Now that she understands that her parents aren't perfect, but that they are doing the best they can, she is the type to pick up the load and carry the mail. Since I'm on the subject, here's some important stuff for parents:

  • Each child is different.
  • Define choices and let your child pick.
  • If you demand nothing, you'll get nothing.
  • They learn more from what you do than what you say.
  • Tell them that you love them and then show them you love them.
  • There are at least 11 kinds of genius. Help your child be one.
  • Expecting only adult behaviors from children is absurd and harmful.
  • The younger ones will learn both good and bad behaviors from the older ones. Pay attention.
  • The single most important word for turning children into adults is "no". It's Vitamin "N"
  • Never give in to a tantrum. It sets both of you up for failure. Let the kid cry to sleep sometimes.
  • They learn more about sharing, fairness, sportsmanship, character and courage from playing with you than from talking to you.
  • They expect you to behave appropriately. If you are abusive, grouchy, impatient or uninterested, they think that's the way adults are supposed to be.
  • You are training the person that will raise your grandkids. Try not to screw it up.
  • Think about what you're doing and how they see it. Their world centers around you.

That's about all I have to say about that.

To that beauty of 18 years: Always remember that Papa loves YOU more.

I Blog, Therefore I Think

Why do I blog? I blog for multiple reasons. Number 1 is for me.

#1. It forces me to make comprehensive appraisal of events and attempt to correlate cause and effect. The analysis of cause and effect is the key to survival. Observe, Orient, Decide, Act.
#2. Collective benefit. We all benefit from correct collective perceptions and solutions. Observe, Orient, Decide, Act.
#3. Vanity. I'd be lying if I didn't recognize the seductive power of social validation. The fact that even a small number people appreciate my "art" is enormously satisfying.

Why do you read what I blog? An interesting question indeed and I will probably poll that question in the near future. Each week, somewhere between 50 and 100 unique readers deliberately stop by. Yet only 13 took the time to respond to the poll on Larry. You come here to achieve your "blog" objectives. I help you do that. This is an attempt on my part to achieve my blogging objectives. Help me do that.

Larry is obviously miserable, so it would be in poor taste to make fun of him. But certainly one can learn from him. I've been itching to try out one of these web polls. You can help us both out by sending this around so the maximum number of people see it. Maybe it will find it's way into the VRAM of a lonely lady in Orange County, NY. Take a minute and pick an answer and take care you don't end up like Larry.

Lying Commie Skank Continues Attack

Communist Newspaper Reporter Giuliana Sgrena continues to maximize the negative publicity generated by her injuries stemming from the failed attempt to speed past a US roadblock in Iraq. She asserts of course, that eeevil-American Soldiers targeted her as retribution for Italian efforts to get her released. What a spineless hack!

Truth #1. There's no way that American soldiers can know who is in a particular speeding car, and to make such an assertion is transparent propaganda.

Truth #2. If it were known that she was in the car, and the troops had orders to target her, she'd be dead. They wouldn't have used bullets aimed at the block of the engine, they would have used a tank shell or an anti-tank rocket.

Truth #3. Giuliana Sgrena is a communist. Communists do not believe in morality. Communists find the use of falsehoods to advance international communism acceptable.

Truth #4. Giuliana Sgrena is lying. She is an enemy of the United States. She is actively employing false information as a weapon.

Truth #5. Giuliana Sgrena is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Released Journalist Wounded. Who Cares? - I Don't

Commie Journalist Giuliana Sgrena was released by her captors once they realized just how fervently Anti-American she is. The fact that they released her should be a clue. She was in Iraq to publicize every negative aspect of the war. She writes for Il Manifesto (as in Communist Manifesto). An example of her tripe.

I feel awful about the Italian security officer that gave his life to protect hers. The loss of his life was a waste. Far better that she were killed and he injured. Perhaps we can offer to educate his children here in the states or provide some other meaningful compensation to his survivors. He was making a contribution to freedom by serving his country in a dangerous place.

Giuliana Sgrena however is a different case. She is the enemy. She employs information as a weapon* against the United States and it's strategic objectives. She is a communist. She wants a world where people are enslaved by the state. She wants a world where the media is controlled by the state. This is a woman that saw Ronald Reagan deposit communism on the trash heap of history, and she wants revenge. She is a communist, and by definition, that makes her an enemy of freedom.
She puts the advancement of her political agenda above the interests of the people she pretends to care about.

In a strategic sense, her injuries have hurt us and it were better if it hadn't happened. But since the gleeful press has already done their damage, I hope that whatever wounds she has, hurt for a long time.

Pain... Searing pain, and for a long, long time. To remind her and her Commie friends to stay out of our business.

*A primer on Information as a Weapon

Applied Monty Python Studies

For geopolitical junkies with a taste for Monty Python will love this. It's an article from the Times of London. One might say that it discusses the "bright side of life."
Well, it's probably not the "bright side of life" for the Anti-Americans, the "Oil for Palaces" profiteers, the cowards, the apologists, or the "no war for any reason" crowd. But for those of us that want people everywhere to practice peaceful self-government, it's the "bright side of life".

The Next Storm

The storm to regulate and marginalize the power of blogging is gathering. McCain and his Democrat buddies are scoping out our domain and trying to figure how to keep it from being used against them. Michele Malkin has captured the story and relevant links here.

I am forming plans for my "resistance". The resistance is political today, but if these bastards continue to impose restrictions on free of speech, eventually, the people will have to take back control of the government through violence. Our Founding Fathers specifically vested us with the right to keep and bear arms for this purpose.

I'm not going to tell you what to do about it. If you can't figure that out for yourself, you won't be any help to "the resistance". But do something political now and make preparations to stand and fight later.
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin, US author, diplomat, inventor, physicist, politician, & printer (1706 - 1790)
Go rent "The Patriot" (w/ Mel Gibson) and see what happens during a war if you attempt to stand on the sidelines.

When the time comes, I don't think the military could effectively be used against the US population. Military leaders know what the Constitution says and would not be willing to give the orders. I also don't think the troops would stand for it. If we are going to have to lock horns and shed blood, it will be against the paramilitary jackboots that have the military technology without the full accountability and discipline of command structure. The pack of professionals that gave you the killings at the Branch Davidian compound at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Maybe we can shut this down with letters and public outcry. Does the slogan "Repeal McCain-Feingold" carry the mail? If we can do that, the effort to regulate blogs will wither on the vine. I'm writing to my President, Senator and Congressman today.

The Core of All Relevance

God is "on a roll."

The content of this page centers around understanding reality. It involves the search to know what is the actual chain of events and what can be expected based on the observed pattern of cause and effect. We desire to understand and relate human behaviors to genetics, environment and learning. The more we understand, the better we can plan and this allows us to control and shape our environment.

I've been percolating a subject that was labeled: Are we wired for God and Good? I've seen a number studies over the years that try to measure "theistic effects." Said another way, measuring the difference that religion makes in peoples lives. One showed a connection between brain activity in certain areas during deep religious meditation. Another showed the difference in cure rates for the religious versus the agnostic/skeptical. There are significant differences in health and life expectancy between the two groups even after you discount diet, alcohol, and tobacco effects.

As I watch the behavior of human beings and read the studies, I make the following observations.
  • Theists are happier.
  • Theists are more optimistic.
  • Theists are more charitable.
  • Theists are more forgiving.
  • Theists are less likely to use the word "hate". I.E "I hate that movie"
I personally believe in the existence of God and that he is the architect of our existence but I will not try to convince you that God exists or does not exist from this page. What I will address is the questions that the above mentioned "theistic effects" force to the surface.

Conversations with atheists often center around the question of proving the existence of God. I feel that question is mostly irrelevant in the big picture. Here's why?
Answer 1) God either exists or doesn't.
Answer 2) A metaphysical spirit or soul either post-exists this life or doesn't.
These two answers are big but may not be key to the big picture, Here's why.

If God exists, God is the lawgiver of the universe. If not, the only lawgiver is the collective properties of space, time, matter, and energy.
If God is the lawgiver and has emplaced a universal standard for measurement of behavior, then there is a right and wrong. If the soul or spirit continues past death, then morality matters, If not, then it doesn't. When it's over, it's over and that's that.

Conversely, if God doesn't exist, then there is no standard for the measurement of behaviors except what we create. If the soul or spirit continues past death, then morality doesn't matter.

Therefore, if God and the Soul exist, then morality and behavior matter in a metaphysical sense.
If both conditions are not met, then morality and behavior don't matter in a metaphysical sense.

If behavior doesn't matter in a metaphysical sense, then our only motivation in this life must be to live as fully as we can for as long as we can. If there is no post-existence, judgment or reward, then what you see is all there is.

So we turn our heads to the science that says:
  • Theists generally live longer healthier lives.
  • Theists are generally happier and more satisfied with their lives.
Thus whether there is or is not a God, you get the best probability of whatever payoff there is: (long, happy life or eternal reward) by being a theist and living accordingly.

I won't tell you what I believe but I don't believe the existence of God can be scientifically proven in the physical world. If he exists and it can't be proven in the physical world, it's because he wants it that way. If it were possible to prove, there would be no faith and no sacrifice, Obedience would be a bill to be paid rather than an offering.

As a closing remark, there is one question that uncovers the core of all relevance. If you decide to ask one question that goes to the heart of things, it is: "What is the true law of God?" It can be asked many ways. "What is the true church/religion? How do I follow your way?

The answer is the only one that matters. If there's no answer to that question, then there's no meaning to anything. Life becomes passing time until we become cosmic dust.

I've written at length about the importance of the information sphere. The Communists have always understood this. That's why the Chinese are getting scared

We dominate the internet because we are the only nation that could have invented it. They cling to an oppressive, disfunctional political system and then complain that it leaves them at a global disadvantage. They still haven't figured it out after 60 years.

Easy Pickins

Don't expect to hear the MSM howling about a socialist country with an unemployment problem. It tarnishes the image. Socialist Utopia Germany has itshighest unemployment since the great depression. Anybody wonder why? If you don't know, go back and read this blog from day one. It can be distilled into three words: Socialism Doesn't Work

Socialism the concept of "more pay for less work" which extrapolates to "everything for nothing." Each worker is entitled to an increasing share of less. Do the math... Einstein.
